Full List of Representatives Sponsoring the IGRCPEA Online Gambling Act


H.R. 2267, which is the Internet Gambling Regulation, Consumer Protection, and Enforcement Act, put into motion by Rep. Barney Frank, now has 50 co-sponsors. This bill, which was originally introduced back in May, allows licensed online casino gambling companies to legally operate in the United States. This bill directly targets the anti-gambling UIGEA bill by making an exemption for poker. The current status of this bill is on hold until September 2009 in the House Financial Services Committee.
